Historical Milestones
1940 - 1950
1946 Ted Bishop returned from the Air Force and practiced with his father until E.T.'s death in 1947. The Bishop & Bishop name was retained, although Ted practiced alone until 1952.
1952 Ted Bishop was joined in the practice of law by Kenneth McKenzie, a friend of Ted's since they were in law school together in 1937. The firm name became "Bishop, Bishop & McKenzie" to reduce confusion with another lawyer by the name of Bishop, practising with a different law firm.
