| Derek
carries on a general practice of law, focusing in the areas of real
estate, business transactions and corporate law, and banking and
commercial lending. He received his B.A. in 2001 and his LL.B. in
2005 from the University of Alberta and is a member of the Law Society
of Alberta and Canadian Bar Association.
Derek
has a passion for travel that has led him to various locations in
Europe and Southeast Asia. He enjoys various sports and loves spending
time with his wife and two children.
