| Lesley was born and raised in Edmonton, Alberta. She obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (with distinction) from the University of Alberta in 2003 and worked for some time as a Registered Nurse. In 2006, Lesley obtained her Bachelor of Laws (with distinction), also from the University of Alberta. Lesley articled with Bishop & McKenzie LLP and has stayed on as an associate with the firm. She is developing an active general civil litigation and family law practice.
Lesley is actively involved in the Canadian Bar Association. She is on the Executive of the Civil Litigation Section and is a member of the Family Law and Creditor’s Rights sections
Lesley participates as a volunteer lawyer in Child Support Resolution at the courthouse. Lesley also volunteers her time with an organization called ArtStart, where she teaches ballet classes to young students from lower income families.
Lesley’s passion is dance. She enjoys both being a student and teacher of dance. Lesley also enjoys waterskiing, downhill skiing, yoga and world travel.
