| Jerritt has lived all his life in Edmonton. He received both a Bachelor of Arts in 2001 and an LL.B from the University of Alberta in 2005. He was previously employed with the Secretariat to the Alberta Municipal Government Board, a quasi-judicial tribunal adjudicating on municipal matters including residential, commercial and linear property tax assessment. Jerritt has represented clients at all levels of court in Alberta, as well before various tribunals including the Municipal Government Board, Subdivision and Development Appeal Boards and Assessment Review Boards
In the community, he is currently President of the Friends of the Ukrainian Village Society. Jerritt is married with one daughter, and enjoys playing in his band in his spare time.
