Marie was born in Edmonton, Alberta, and received her LL.B in 2002 from the University of Alberta. Marie maintains a unique practice that focuses on all elements of financing. She practices in the areas of secured and unsecured collections and commercial lending for a number of financial and lending institutions. In addition, she maintains a general commercial litigation practice, focusing on the areas of employment law, commercial leasing, and adoption law. Marie has volunteered with organizations such as the Edmonton Centre for Equal Justice, and currently divides her time between various professional and community associations. In her free time, Marie enjoys traveling, backcountry hiking, and reading.
