Ksena, who was raised in Lloydminister, both the Alberta and Saskatchewan sides, received her LL.B. in 1999 from the University of Saskatchewan. She is an active soccer player in a women's league, and also loves hiking and skiing. Ksena enjoys oil painting and sketching.
