In the area of construction law, we act on behalf of property owners, developers, purchasers, contractors, construction trades and materialsmen. Our services extend to all facets of the construction project from the initial development stage through to final completion and we have experience in dealing with a wide variety of projects including heavy construction, commercial, industrial, institutional and both single and multi-family residential dwellings. We are able to assist our clients in a number of areas which include:

• Preparing contract documents
• Negotiating agreements between the municipality and the developer, the owner and its consultants and the prime contractor and between the prime contractor and its various trades and subcontractors
• Dealing with Public Works claims
• Registering and enforcing Builder’s liens
• Resolving contract disputes
• Participating in or initiating arbitration or mediation proceedings
